Auditons for Springboro Community Theatre- Mousetrap

Announcing auditions for Springboro Community Theatre’s Production of
Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap

Audition Requirements:
– Please prepare a short bit of a monologue to demonstrate their British accent proficiency. The one exception is anyone auditioning for Mr. Paravicini; they should have a light Italian accent.
– Auditions will also consist of cold readings from the script.
– Non-standard casting will be considered.

Performance dates are March 4-6 & 11-13, 2022.

Roles:

• Mollie and Giles Ralston – youngish couple recently married who own and run Monkswell Manor

• Christopher Wren – youngish man, contemporary with Mollie and Giles

• Mrs. Boyle –  imposing woman who always seems cross, older

• Major Metcalf – middle aged with military manner

• Miss Casewell – youngish woman, appears to have mannish characteristics

• Mr. Paravicini – European with a flamboyant mustache and light Italian accen

• Detective Sergeant Trotter –  youngish man with a light Cockney accent, contemporary with Mollie and Giles
