Centerville Jazz Band Community Night

Don’t miss your chance to see the Centerville High School Jazz Band perform for free right here in Centerville Stadium before they head to Lucas Oil Stadium to perform at the Bands of America Indianapolis Super Regional and Bands of America Grand National Championships.

The event will feature food trucks, and pre-show entertainment will include live music by UD New Horizons Oompah Band and lawn games on loan from Centerville Washington Park District.

At 7:30 p.m. the Junior Guard will join the Centerville Jazz Band for opening ceremonies, followed by a free performance of the Jazz Band’s 2022 competition show, “Gem City.”

Spectators can bring their lawn chairs to the stadium green space to enjoy the festivities. The event is free and open to the public. The Centerville Band Boosters will be selling drinks, 50/50 raffle tickets and spirit wear, as well as accepting donations. All proceeds, including a portion of the sales from the food trucks, will go to the Band Boosters, a group of parents of band members who provide support for students in the entire band program
