Frizzante ‘Pomona’ Four Course Dinner

Frizzante is a developing beverage company based out of Dayton, OH. Founded by Briana Anello and Crystal Coppock, Frizzante seeks to create unique beverage experiences in our city. For this pop-up they have teamed up with their dear friend, Chef Mariah Gahagan, to create a seasonal food and beverage experience in the delightfully intimate space of Tender Mercy, Dayton’s underground bar.

Pomona is a Roman goddess of fruiting trees, orchards, and fruitful abundance. During the coldest winter months we are in the peak season for fresh citrus and gain access to beautiful blood oranges, meyer lemons, and mandarins. This dinner will highlight and feature citrus flavors, root vegetables, herbs, and spices that brighten our days when the sunlight hours dwindle. Tickets are $115.

Vin d’Orange – blood orange and meyer lemon infused Sauvignon Blanc
(low ABV and non-alcoholic option available)
Scallop Carpaccio, Roasted Celery Root, Carrot + Citrus Mélange
(vegetarian option available)

‘Not Exactly a Negroni’ – highlighting the flavors of chinese rhubarb from Amaro Sfumato Rabarbaro in the classic version and The Pathfinder for the non-alcoholic version
Kale + Citrus Salad

House Aquavit Gazoz – a highly decorative and refreshing beverage made from fresh herbs, fermented fruit syrup, and House Aquavit or House N/A Aquavit
Hawaij Spiced Barramundi, Roasted Winter Fattoush, Za’atar Pita
(vegetarian option available)

‘Vinewinder Nightcap’ – utilizing a syrup made from rosemary and Cabernet Sauvignon grape juice, Cognac or an N/A spirit, and pickled grape
Buttermilk Panna Cotta, Stone Fruit Preserves
