DESCRIPTION:New location: Sinclair campus on Clyo Road\, Centerville \nThe Ohio River Road Runner’s Club Dayton Ghost ‘n Goblin™ 5k has been a source of Halloween family fun for many years. The race typically draws 1200 area runners and walkers. It has provided a fun\, safe\, and enjoyable 5k road race for generations of families to enjoy. The race gives $500 to four high school cross country teams each year. \nThe Ohio River Road Runners Club is a 100% all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Ohio Non-Profit club dedicated to promoting running and supporting the local running community in and around Dayton\, Ohio.  We are known for our inexpensive\, high-quality running events. Each year we give out over $8000 in scholarships to local runners and grants to youth running clubs.

A former public school teacher and principal with more than a decade of experience in instructional design\, project management\, and leadership\, Katris will discuss: \n\nHow AI appears in everyday life\nCore concepts and terminology explained simply\nTools for different tasks and audiences\nSafe and ethical AI practices\nResources to continue learning about AI\n\nA frequent conference presenter and panelist\, Katris has led workshops and trainings on AI literacy\, digital workflows\, and instructional design for schools\, nonprofits\, and business teams.
