This section of the river is known for its serene waters and stunning natural beauty – keep your eyes peeled\, as eagle sightings are a real possibility!\n\n\nWhether you’re a seasoned paddler or new to kayaking\, this trip is for you! Jessica from Trailhead Trader will provide a pre-paddle session covering kayaking basics to ensure everyone feels comfortable\, confident\, and safe on the water.\nWe will meet at the West Carrollton Dam kayak launch at 4:45pm\n\nThe cost is just $45 per person\, or $90 for a tandem (two-person) kayak. SUMMARY:Miamisburg Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The Miamisburg Triathlon is a great way to close out your summer. The bike and run are both flat\, fast courses. It’s a 2.5 mile canoe\, followed by a 5k run and concludes with a 10 mile bike. Participants can race with a partner or as a solo\, either way you’ll have something to brag about when you finish. All finishers get a custom medal and a great post-race spread. \n  \n2 Person Team Entry includes the canoe rental\, life vests and paddles.  Solo participants either bring your own kayak or paddleboard or make arrangements with Barefoot Canoe 937-698-4351 to have one brought for you on race day.  We have a limit of 50 entry spots for 2-person teams.  Solo spots are unlimited. \n  \nFor 2-Person Team entries\, do not use the Add Participant feature.  You will be prompted for your partner’s information later in the registration process. \n  \nThank you for your interest in the Miamisburg Triathlon.  Race day is Sunday\, August 24\, 2025: \n  \nStart Times will be assigned in the order registrations are received.  We will publish them once we get closer to race day. \n

DESCRIPTION:We are taking over the riverfront in Downtown Miamisburg\, OH to host our signature Float Show featuring Harold Hensley! This is our second of two shows in Miamisburg so let’s represent.\nOur giant paddleboards make the perfect floating stage and you’re invited to join our paddle party! No sh*t shows here only our regions finest and most adventurous musicians will take the stage. Bring your kayak\, SUP or canoe and join us at a variety of waterfront communities in Southwest Ohio. What a perfect way to enjoy a hot summer night\nDates\n*All Shows are 630-8 pm except Aug 31 in Miamisburg (3-4:30 pm). After parties to follow each showAug 31 – Float Show Miamisburg OH with Harold Hensley\n*Rent a kayak! We are partnering with Taiters Kayak to offer rentals. Contact Charlie Overlock for availability at 326-220-7952. $25 rental fee in advance is recommended as availability is limited\n*Rent a giant paddleboard built for up to five people. $125 rental fee (must reserve and pay in advance by contacting Tom Helbig at 937-417-2228)\n*Bring your own canoe\, kayak or paddleboard and haul boat on your own to Great Miami River.\nParking – Linden Rd Access offers convenient public parking with access to boat ramp. This location is directly across the Great Miami River from the new Miamisburg Riverfront Park at Linden Ave\nShows are FREE but donations/tips are accepted for staff\, permits and logistics. Please note all guests must wear a lifejacket and alcohol is not permitted on any public waterway.\nEvents are rain or shine! Our crew will have shelter options as the show must go on!
