DESCRIPTION:The region’s largest outdoor ice skating rink opens Friday\, Nov. 28\, for season-long\, family-friendly fun on the banks of the scenic Great Miami River in downtown Dayton. \n  \nSheltered under the covered pavilion\, the MetroParks Ice Rink measures 70′ x 150′ and sets the scene as a perfect winter wonderland in downtown Dayton.  With its appeal to both young and old\, the experience of skating at the MetroParks Ice Rink is fast becoming a holiday tradition for Miami Valley families looking for something fun to do together\, and with its location along the riverfront\, the MetroParks Ice Rink also is a great way to experience the outdoors during cooler weather. \nAdmission fee: $7 daily Ice skate rental: $3 daily Skaters ages 3 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult. \nSpecial Holiday Hours \n\nOpening Day (Nov. 28): 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.\nChristmas Day (Dec. 25): CLOSED\nNew Year’s Day (Jan. 1): 1 – 8 p.m.\nMLK Jr. Day (Jan. 19): 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.\nPresidents Day (Feb. 16): 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.\n\nGet out and skate on the region’s largest outdoor ice rink!\nFood and Beverages \nWhile the rink is open\, you can enjoy delicious treats from the concession area. \nRent the Rink \nThe MetroParks Ice Rink is great for school field trips\, office outings\, family outings\, kids’ parties\, club activities\, church socials and more. DESCRIPTION:Please join us as we take a walk beside the river and clean up trash along the way. Work off some of that Turkey Day waddle and long weekend Sunday Scaries. Fresh air and a sense of accomplishment are sure to be the answer! It may be muddy and cool\, so bring a jacket\, boots\, and clothes that can get dirty. This is a great way to get service hours\, have fun with friends\, and help the watershed!\nWe will meet in the Washington Mill Park (3311 Washington Mill Road\, Bellbrook) parking lot to get bags\, pickers\, and gloves before we begin.\n\nClean up time will be 1-3pm along the path/area along Little Miami River – this is a walking cleanup only.
