SUMMARY:Clay Tree Luminaries
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a cozy morning of clay with a fun luminary project (which could easily serve as a cute night or a holiday gift for a special someone!)\, no clay experience required! These little tree luminaries are simple in their construction to make\, but decorating them is the best part! Each family will receive a 2lb pre-rolled slab of clay (can make approximately 2 medium luminaries or 3-4 smaller ones\, max is 4 please!)  as well as an armature to wrap their clay on. There will be tools to make small punches\, and glaze to decorate with! Please allow 2-3.5 weeks as these need ample time to dry before firing. Each luminary will receive 1 LED tea light with pickup. Participants will be notified by Moraine Parks and Recreation when they’re ready. Registration is required. Register one person per 4 family members. If there are more than 4 family members\, please register an additional family member. This is not a drop-off program.

SUMMARY:Bubbling Cauldron Mug Pottery Painting
DESCRIPTION:Get in the BUBBLY spirit during this fun pottery painting workshop\, where we experiment with bubble solution and glaze to create fun (and a little messy!) creations! There will also be other textures like sponges and mini bubble wrapping to experiment with\, as well as squeezy glazes to embellish. Cauldron mugs will be clear coated to ensure they are food safe and ready to partake in your favorite bubbly coffee\, cocoa\, tea\, whatever you fancy! Please allow 2-3 weeks for pottery to be fired and returned to the Gerhardt Civic Center. Participants will be notified when they are ready. Registration is required to participate. This is not a drop-off program.

SUMMARY:Clay Fairy Houses
DESCRIPTION:Spend a morning of whimsy creating fairy houses in clay! no previous clay experience is required! Each family will receive a 2lb pre-rolled slab of clay\, which can create 1 large fairy house\, or a couple smaller ones (and they can get pretty small!) We will learn basic clay techniques like scoring and slipping to build our fairy house foundations\, and then it’s time to decorate! create fences\, windows\, doors\, etc! then glaze it up with an assortment of fun colors!  Fairy houses will be fired in a kiln and returned to the Gerhardt Civic Center approximately 2-3 weeks after the program (projects will need time to dry prior to firing!). Participants will be notified when they are ready for pick up! Registration is required to participate. Only one member per family needs to register. This is not a drop-off program.
