DESCRIPTION:Ready to have some fun?! Our annual walk/run for Autism Awareness and Acceptance is back and at a NEW LOCATION! We’re going to come together at Eastwood MetroPark (use main entrance) to raise much needed funds. All proceeds from the event will be used to fund our family grant program. \nThose participating in the 5K Run (timed) will start at 10am and those participating in the 5K Walk (not timed\, no race bib provided) will start after the runners have started. We will adhere to an approximate 20 min/mile pace and everyone\, runners and walkers\, must be finished by 11:15am \nThrough Race Day\, June 13th\n$35 for adults\, $25 for those 17 and under \n**There’s a race for everyone! When adding your registration information\, you’ll have the option to select from a timed 5K\, an untimed 5K\, and a virtual 5K!** \nShirts are available through April 14th! \nSchedule\nPre-race packet pick up\nTBA \nWhere: The parking lot at Eastwood MetroPark. Use the main entrance. \nRace day\nSaturday\, June 13th\, Eastwood MetroPark\n8:30 am – 9:45 am: Race day packet pick up\n9:45 am: You may begin lining up\n10 am: Timed 5K start. Each stop features its own creative hole\, a hot food item\, and drink specials all day long. \nPlay wraps up at 5:30 pm\, but don’t head home just yet. Our featured day-of liquor raffle will be drawn and announced at the close of the event at TJ Chumps (location to be confirmed)\, and players do not need to be present to win. \nCostumes are encouraged and the best dressed team wins free entry into next year’s event! DESCRIPTION:For 69 years\, Art Ball has been the Miami Valley’s premier social event. This annual black-tie soiree is attended by more than 650 community and corporate leaders\, top museum supporters\, and community patrons\, and raises critical funds towards the museum’s mission of bringing art to all. Hosted by the DAI’s Associate Board\, a volunteer group of 32 duos committed to sustaining the museum and the art Dayton treasures. This year’s Art Ball will be chaired by Myla Cardona-Jones and Alan Cardona\, and co-chaired by Emilee and Chris Ambrose. \nThe evening begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by an elegant sit-down dinner from Kohler Catering. After dinner\, Art Ball patrons may enjoy live music\, dancing and the ability to take advantage of some of the museum’s most special places: Hale Cloister and Museum Rotunda\, as well as the Moonlight Lounge on Lima Hill\, which has a spectacular view of downtown Dayton. Throughout the evening\, open bars are available\, along with specialty bubbles\, martinis and bourbon selections. \n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\nAdvance reservations are required for Art Ball.
