DESCRIPTION:The 43rd Annual Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival will be held at Community Park\, 691 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road\, Fairborn\, Ohio. \nThis is a family-oriented event. There will be approximately 130 handmade arts and crafts booths and food vendors. You can enjoy the favorites such as steamed cooked sweet corn\, BBQ chicken\, pork chop sandwiches\, a variety of other offerings and fresh cut watermelon. There will be art and crafts for everyone including candles\, wood items\, jewelry\, quilts\, clothing\, honey and salsa.  There will be community service information booths as well. \nAll day both days\, there are activities for children such as pony rides and train rides.  A corn eating contest is also planned with the City of Fairborn vs Wright Patterson AFB on Saturday at 1PM at the Information tent!  There will be free entertainment both days in the Festival Music Pavilion area. Parking and admission are also free. \nPets are allowed at the festival. You just need to keep them on a leash and clean up after them.

We’ll also walk through how to make a simple\, from-scratch salad dressing. By the end of class\, you’ll put your new skills to the test by preparing and enjoying a fresh salad in the Miamisburg Community Center’s kitchen.
