We’ll be looking for our year-round residents and winter visitors like Golden-crowned Kinglets and Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers. The walk is slow-paced\, and mostly stays on the road surface\, but sometimes does venture “off-trail” into the grass. All ages welcome. The tour will meet at the Eichelberger Plaza at the main gates of the cemetery.\nYour nature guide will be Amanda Lawson\, an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist.\nAll tours require a reservation and there is a suggested $5 donation. All donations support the Woodland Arboretum Foundation which focuses on the restoration\, preservation\, horticultural and educational projects needed to keep Woodland a cultural resource for Dayton and Ohio.

Together\, we will create a collective prayer\, a symphony of words and songs\, rooted in love\, clarity\, and the pure joy of being alive.\nThis is not just a gathering\, this is a ceremony—a sacred ritual to honor our personal journeys\, the cycles of the moon\, and the vibrant energy of the new year. Bring your heart\, your dreams\, and your sweet self to this evening of magic\, as we move\, drum\, and set powerful intentions for a bright and inspired 2026 under the full moon.\nAll are welcome to join in this heart-opening experience. No prior experience with drumming or dance is required—just an open heart and a willingness to step into the mystery of the moonlit night.\nIf you have your own noisemaker (drum\, rattle\, tambourine\, etc.) please feel welcome to bring it.
