DESCRIPTION:2025 marks the festival’s 45th year and the 26th year for our downtown site. RAIN\, SHINE or SNOW!  Expect: \nFood – Pork Chops\, Hot Dogs\, Chicken Noodles\, Apple Dumplings\, Walking Tacos\, Funnel cakes\, Sausages\, Hamburgers\, Peanuts in the shell and by the bag\, Shaved Ice and of course\, APPLE BUTTER. \nCrafts and Gifts – All craft booths are judged by the committee and are of homemade quality. Manufactured crafts are not allowed in the festival. \nDemonstrations – The Enon Community Historical Society volunteers demonstrate the Apple Butter production by cooking all apple butter sold over a fire in copper kettles. \nMusic and Entertainment – Music from the past adds to the festival atmosphere throughout the entire festival. Greenon High School band and choir entertain the public on Saturday at the Opening Ceremony at 10 a.m. \nThe Enon Community Historical Society sponsors the annual Enon Apple Butter Festival as a community service project. The Historical Society makes apple butter the old-fashioned way in six\, 50-gallon copper kettles\, cooked over open wood-burning fires. Canning and selling of the apple butter is done at the festival in the afternoon as it becomes ready. Annual attendance is estimated at 8-10\,000 for the two days. Admission to the festival grounds is free. Free parking is available. Note – please do not bring your pets to the Apple Butter Festival. \nCome Visit us the second full weekend of October!  Fun for the whole Family! DESCRIPTION:It’s that time again to dust off the dog costumes or start working on making one cause Dogtoberfest is almost here!Dogtoberfest is our biggest event of the year and it’s a fundraiser for the Clark County SPCA! The homeless animals need our help so mark your calendars and tell your friends cause we need your support at this event. The public is invited to bring their well-behaved dogs to the winery on 6 foot or shorter leashes. No extendable leashes please. We have a costume contest with judging and prizes at 3pm. If you don’t have a fur friend to bring no worries cause the SPCA will be conducting adoptions at the event. The winery will be offering $15 wine tastings with a special souvenir stemless Dogtoberfest wine glass to take home. We are also bringing out a brand new ultra special wine we have been working hard on! It’s a sweet orange creamsicle flavored wine called Orange Pupsicle that will make your tastebuds burst with happiness. From every bottle of Orange Pupsicle we sell at Dogtoberfest we will donate $5 to the SPCA. So please make sure to show up to the event or order your bottles online that day! There will be live music with Skip Hoyt from 1-4pm. Freddies Franks and Burgers and The Flying Pepper foodtrucks will be onsite so come hungry. There will be basket raffles\, a 50/50 raffle\, vendors\, hoodie sales\, and a bake sale all to benefit the SPCA. Pawz to Pose will be taking dog photos in the garage of the house next to the winery. $10 of each photo is donated to the SPCA so make sure to get your dogs photo taken. There is a $5 a car parking donation so please bring some cash for the parking and raffle tickets. We are so very excited for this event and are hoping for lots of support from the community!

The formal occasion includes an elegant dinner\, music and dancing. \n  \nThe Women to Watch honor recognizes women in the Miami Valley who are exceptional in their roles and respected in their fields\, who are causing more than just a ripple in the public arena and in their communities and who “light a spark” or make an impression. Attendees will also celebrate the efforts of the Sandie Geib Ambassador of the Year and the Volunteer of the Year recipients.
