DESCRIPTION:Join MetroParks on the farm for a celebration of healthy eating and sustainable living with dozens of hands-on activities\, a pop-up farmers market\, demonstrations\, speakers and more. \nSmall Farm & Food Fest is a free\, all-ages event that will offer a mix of modern-day and historical farming\, gardening\, homesteading and food preparation information. This year\, demonstrations and talks focus on encouraging folks to do their own planting\, growing and preservation in order to save money and be kinder to the environment! \nBites from a variety of food trucks and farm market vendors will be available during the event. Festivalgoers also will enjoy live music from noon to 4 PM at the Visitor’s Center. \nSmall Farm & Food Fest is sponsored by Edible Ohio Valley and Apple Farm Services. \nThis event is free to the public and for all ages.
