SUMMARY:Ghost Walking Tour in Historic Miamisburg
DESCRIPTION:In the late 1800s a spectral lady in white was observed floating among the headstones in the local Miamisburg Cemetery. Hundreds of people are on record claiming to have seen the ghost. They even came out in large groups trying to drive the spirit away with clubs! \nDayton Metro Library is offering a Ghost walking tour in historic Miamisburg. We’ll venture into Veterans Memorial Park\, formerly Library Park which was also the town cemetery many years ago. Our ghost tellers will thrill you with the different eerie happenings that have occurred in the area and also around the Carnegie building. \nThe walk starts at the Miamisburg branch library and continues to the park and into the Carnegie Library building. This is a great way to get your steps and thrills in and also learn about Miamisburg’s storied past at the same time! The event may be canceled due to the weather. \nSupport staff are welcome. Please contact us if accommodations are needed.
