7 Course Vegan Fine Dining Experience

Van Ward, one of our own MAZU staff, is bringing her 16 years of experience to present an elegant evening with 7 courses of beautiful fine dining. Van’s inspiration is being vegan herself: “Being vegan connects me to the Earth, to the ingredients, to the idea that food is community and an experience. From growing my own food to fine dining cooking, I feel love and thrive in an environment where nature becomes one with artistry and belief.”

Van has rotated through every position and worked her way into success as a chef and a bartender. Hence, this night presents a multi-sensory 7 course dinner paired with cocktails, wine, and ambiance. For a true night of elegance and sophistication, a dress code of formal wear is required.

Course 1 – Canape – Vegan caviar, white bean ricotta, served on dried fruit

Course 2 – Soup – Purple cabbage and potato with a parsley cream drizzle, bacon crumble and edible flowers

Course 3 – Fish – King oyster scallops on pea puree with a lemon butter sauce

Course 4 – Palate Cleanser – Melon and lemon thyme sorbet

Course 5 – Main Course – Lions mane steak with peppercorn sauce on a bed of cheesy turmeric polenta and asparagus

Course 6 – Salad – Endive boat salad, with blue cheese crumble and walnuts with a cranberry dressing

Course 7 – Dessert – Spiced creme brulee

Drinks – 2 Cocktails, White Wine, Red Wine, 1 non-alcoholic option
