Dayton Hash House Harriers & Harriettes Red Star Full Moon Run

December 23, 2023 By Dayton937

Comrades, you can park on either side of the bar. There’s also some parking on 1st Street. We are meeting inside. Come early and have a beer while you wait for the start of the hash revolution!
Cost: $4 for the beer drinking bourgeoisie; otherwise, $2 for the proletarians. Free for first time party members (hashers)!
Hare: Comrade 50mm
Hash Trail: Hashers unite and come join your fellow comrades as we march through the downtown motherland following a trail of flour!!! The ruling classes will certainly tremble as we hike or run the approximately 3-miles of trail. As always, go according to your ability, to each according to their needs. Expect beer/water stops along the way as we share the fruits of all our labor.
Hashing in General: This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. Trail length of ~3 miles. One or more beer/water stops along the way! In hashing you’ll will be running/walking as part of a group. The faster runners will be out ahead looking for flour marks on the ground trying to figure out which way the trail route goes. Sometimes they go the wrong way which allows the slow runners/walkers to catch up and even get ahead. This allows everyone to go at their own pace and stay together as a group.
Dogs: Allowed on a leash during trail. Must be friendly to people and other dogs. Not allowed inside the bars. You know the consequences; you’ll be sent to the desolate cold reaches of Michigan!
Children: Adults only since we’ll be in 21+ establishments. 😋
