Science Saturdays

Celebrate new beginnings in high-flying style with a day of rocket-inspired crafts, launches, and hands-on STEM exploration at the NAHF! This exciting Open Lab invites kids and families to discover the basics of propulsion and motion through playful, creative activities that are out of this world. Young engineers can design and test their own rockets using simple materials like build a balloon rocket that zips across the room, launch a straw rocket that flies with a puff of air, or send a stomp rocket soaring sky-high. Each activity explores the forces that make real rockets lift off, helping kids understand the science of thrust, pressure, and aerodynamics in a fun and memorable way.
