A sketchy family tree, a scandalous birth, a wild man running around the desert eating honey, and then there is a supposed savior of the world who entered the world as a baby. The story of Jesus’ arrival on earth actually sets the tone for the exact people Jesus came to reach– the outcast, downtrodden, meek, poor, and marginalized – what our culture terms as Misfits!
