A Discussion about Biking the Ohio to Erie Trail

June 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free
Join us for a discussion about bicycling the Ohio to Erie Trail. This program, led by Tom Helbig, will be a mix of logistics about bicycling the entire route and inspiration. Tom has several personal journeys on the OTET along with five years of guiding supported tours for Wilderness Voyageurs. This summer and fall Tom will guide five six day tours. The first one begins June 15
The scenic 326 mile trail links the Ohio River to Lake Erie, primarily on rail trails and canal paths. It traverses four major cities, numerous quaint small towns and miles of pastoral countryside.
Whether you’re taking a short walk or bike or you are planning to join the 326 mile club by riding the entire route from Cincinnati to Cleveland adventure awaits.
Save time to shop and support Base Camp Outdoors before and after the program.
For those seeking adventure that night, a short social bike ride to Island Metropark will begin at 8:45 pm. It is a five mile round trip ride. Bring lights and wear a helmet for safety
Presentation is Free. Tips are encouraged and appreciated
