A Scarecrow Experience
September 7 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
$15 – $25Do you need a ‘scarecrow buddy’ to put in your garden or sit on your porch? Do you wonder why the word crow is in a scarecrow’s name? What special information can we learn about crows?
Sign up today for this fun straw-building experience for all ages and find out! Join us outside the Charity A. Kreuger Farm Discovery Center under the farm pavilion. Bring one set of old clothes per group, a brown paper bag for the head, and your own creativity! We will provide the straw. Do you think the crows will be watching?
You must pre-register for this workshop, and registration is limited. We use registration to assign staff, so please sign up early; events with low registration may be cancelled to free up resources. This event is $15 per group (8 people or less) for members of Friends of Aullwood, National Audubon Society, and ANCA affiliated organizations with membership card or receipt. Non-members attending pay $25 per group (8 people or less). Meet behind the farm discovery center at 9101 Frederick Pike under the farm pavilion. Groups need to bring a set of clothes and a brown paper bag for the scarecrow’s head. Straw will be provided. Questions?
