Artist Talk with Jerome Stueart: Protect the Autumn Woods!

Join us at the Dayton Society of Artists on Saturday, December 7th, from 1–2 PM for an engaging artist talk with Dayton’s own Jerome Stueart. He’ll be sharing insights into his latest work, Protect the Autumn Woods!, currently featured in our Project Space.

Protect the Autumn Woods! is a captivating series of 32 watercolor, pen, and ink paintings that follow a group of forest creatures on a brave mission to save their beloved home. These characters are older, retired magic users who long for a peaceful life, but everything changes when a troop of orcs arrives on a mysterious, destructive mission. As the story unfolds, we see the animals, small but mighty, banding together to protect the autumn woods from these powerful invaders. What secrets lie behind the orcs’ motives? Can the animals rally to defend their forest home? Don’t miss this chance to hear Jerome discuss his creative process, storytelling techniques, and the inspiration behind this unique blend of art and fantasy. Perfect for art lovers, storytellers, and fantasy enthusiasts alike!
