Behind the Scenes: Making An Animated Movie

Steve Martino was born in Dayton, Ohio, and attended Alter High School and The Ohio State University. He served as Art Director for Robots and directed animated films such as Horton Hears a Who!, Ice Age: Continental Drift, and The Peanuts Movie. Steve has won an Emmy as a designer for World of Discovery, an Annie Award for animation, and an Outstanding Director honor, and he received a Golden Globe nomination. He is also a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
