Chamber Music concert

Chamber Music in Yellow Springs (CMYS) announces its 41^st season offering outstanding chamber music performances to local audiences. All concerts will be presented in the First Presbyterian Church of Yellow Springs, and will be followed by an in-person question-and-answer session. Single tickets are $30 – in advance online at cmys.org, or at the door starting at 3:30 p.m. each concert. Each performance is also livestreamed for remote viewing and be available for 30 days post-concert for ticket holders to enjoy an encore performance; livestream tickets are $15 each online.

The first concert of the 24-25 season, on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 4 p.m., will feature Trio Zimbalist. The group has garnered critical acclaim for its “precision and feverish intensity” (Greece’s EfSyn). The group was lauded for its “liveliness and vigor of playing” and performances that were “pure enjoyment!” (Athinorama). The trio takes its name from famed violin virtuoso Efrem Zimbalist, a towering presence at the Curtis Institute of Music as faculty and director for a combined forty years.

Season tickets – covering all four concerts plus the Annual Competition in April 2025, are still available online for only $125 each.
