Day At The Park New Lebanon

The city of New Lebanon is excited to announce a day to celebrate the city with the event a Day in the Park on August 10th beginning at 8am with a 5K race and ending the day with fireworks in the park.
It has been 15 years since New Lebanon has seen fireworks over the city and with the current situations involving changes in the city government, the city came together to create an event to bring everyone together and celebrate the strengths and talents of the community.
“This event breathes life, breaths excitement and breaths commitment to the citizens of the Village of New Lebanon,”Mayor David Nickerson shared. “It’s a new start, a time to move forward and work together towards the greater goal of making the community better.”
The event kicks off with a 5K run beginning at 8am and a pancake breakfast in the park at 9:30am. Following the opening ceremony at 10:30am, everyone will be able to enjoy vendors, food trucks, and more. Attendees will be able to enjoy live music from One Man Jacob Shane Band and Brian Clouse.
The event will also highlight children with kid business vendors. Carnival rides and inflatables can be enjoyed with the purchase of a wristband and will occur for most of the day from 1pm and ending at 9pm.
Adults 21 years and older can enjoy adult beverages in the secured Beer Garden area which will be closed off from anyone entering under the age of 21 and anyone exiting into the park with alcohol.
The day will have many contests including a Cruise-In Car show, Best Pie Contest, Bingo, Music Trivia plus Cornhole and Volleyball Tournaments. Prior registration for these events is encouraged.

- 6pm Cornhole Tournament
- 7pm Volleyball Tournament
- 9pm The park is cleared for fireworks (fireworks can be viewed in the adjacent parking lot)
