Dessert Auction to Benefit Second Harvest Food Bank

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 26, community members will flock to Mother Stewart’s Brewing in Springfield to participate in the Second Harvest Food Bank’s (SHFB) annual dessert auction fundraiser.
During the auction, bidders will get the chance to bid on 30 desserts. The highest bidder of each item will take their winning sweet treats home to enjoy.
A grab and go table will also be set up with desserts, each priced at $20.
“This event is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season while making a meaningful impact,” said Allie Godfrey, marketing and events specialist at Second Harvest Food Bank. “We are incredibly grateful for the community’s generosity and enthusiasm year after year.”
All proceeds from the event will go to SHFB’s mission to provide food to those within the community who are in need of food.
