Domestic Violence: A Community Conversation

Montgomery County Prevention Coalition’s Power-Based Violence Committee is having an event to raise awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Community members are welcome to join us on October 15 at the Dayton Metro Library’s Main branch for the chance to learn about the issue and a variety of resources in the Montgomery County available to help address it.
This conversation will be followed by a Stewards of Children Training, and participaints are welcome to join for one or both parts of the event.

Description of Stewards of Children®: an evidence-informed, award-winning training that teaches adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Through interviews with child sexual abuse survivors, experts, and treatment providers, Stewards of Children® teaches adults practical actions they can take to reduce instances of child sexual abuse in their organizations, families, and communities.
