Five Course Persian Dinner

Welcome to Persian Joy, a magical evening where we transform Joui Wine into a traditional meykhaneh. Reserve a spot to this delicious cultural experience and you are signing up for five courses of traditional Persian food, paired with 4 delectable wines, and so much more.

Our guest chefs Armin and Naysan grew up together in Yellow Springs, and laughed together all the way into adulthood. Gatherings always involved food, laughter, and joy. As time passed and schedules became complicated, they realized that cooking was time best spent together. Join these two characters as they produce an absurd amount of food. Specifically…traditional Persian food. Full of saffron, barberry, fresh grilled kababs, herbs, and joy. They welcome you with ‘newshi jon,’ or translated from Farsi, nourishment to your soul! Our resident saaghi, Khanum Lauren, is providing wines to pair with the meal. All meats provided by Keener Farm. Since 1830, Keener Farm has provided locally raised meat to our community. They are dedicated to being stewards of the land, raising meats responsibly from healthy hormone-free animals.

This is more than a (properly indulgent) meal. Be prepared for a wonderful cultural immersion experience. Persians, pinot, and poetry!
