Healing Generational Trauma in the Black Community

January 8, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

The “Healing Generational Trauma in the Black Community” Tour is a crucial initiative aimed at raising awareness and addressing the deep-rooted trauma that has impacted Black individuals and families for generations and misshaped “Black Culture”. Through a series of monthly forums, the tour will educate the community on the historical and systemic causes of generational trauma, provide tools and strategies for healing, and foster open dialogue around mental health and wellness. By creating a safe space for discussion and empowerment, the tour seeks to inspire collective action to break the cycle of trauma and pave the way for a healthier, more resilient Black community. The tour will culminate in a Town Hall Conference, “State of Emergency! Stop the Violence,” focusing on actionable solutions to youth violence and other critical issues.
