Hillgrove Cemetery Historical Walking Tour

The Miamisburg Historical Society and the Miamisburg Library are offering a historical walking tour of the Hillgrove Cemetery.
Hillgrove Cemetery was established in 1863 and is part of Miamisburg’s rich heritage. One of the City’s founders, Dr. John Treon, was the first buyer of a plot and has a prominent resting place on the grounds.
Learn about many of the historical dwellers interred in this old cemetery and how the cemetery was moved from its former spot where the Veteran’s Park currently resides. Buried among the rolling hills are many Miamisburg founding fathers and mothers, Revolutionary soldiers, Civil War soldiers and many others.
The walk will begin at the gates of the Cemetery located at 1012 E Central Ave. Miamisburg, OH 45342.
