The Dayton Contemporary Dance Company is thrilled to kick off the season with a collaborative dance performance in October. We are proud to be joined by our friends from Denver, the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance company, as we present a special performance of Jacob’s Ladder, a piece created by the renowned Hip Hop legend Dr. Rennie Harris. This exciting finale is the perfect follow-up to the successful Jacob Lawrence Project of 2007. We are also honored to have Charles Anderson, an internationally celebrated OSU professor, founder of Dance Theatre X, and Dance Magazine’s 25 to Watch, create and premiere a new work for us, adding another gem to the DCDC crown.
