Juneteenth: Unity in the Community
June 19 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Kettering’s family-friendly celebration returns! All are welcome to join the free events leading up to the Party in the Park!
This event recognizes our newest federal holiday with live music, food, and fun—and it’s all FREE! In addition to a featured live band, dozens of businesses and nonprofits will provide information, services and samples. A family area will have special activities for kids of all ages. A variety of food trucks will be available for the purchase of tasty meals, snacks and desserts. Plus, in the days leading up to Juneteenth, we’re planning to host related exhibits, documentary and movie screenings at Wright Library; a Rosewood Arts Center spoken word event and other programs that will celebrate and educate.
We are eager to build on the success of the past three years and grow our city’s Juneteenth celebration into an anticipated annual family festival.
