Kindness Backpack Fundraiser
Join us for an evening of indulgence and philanthropy as we raise funds for Kindness Backpack.
On June 11th, Joui Wine will be transformed into a sophisticated, elevated event space.
Guests will be welcomed with a cocktail for a happy hour meet and greet.
Next, Certified Sommelier Lauren Gay will guide us through a flight of three wines that have been expertly selected to pair with three delectable pastries from The Cakery.
Proceeds from the evening will go to support Kindness Backpack,
a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that partners with local schools with heightened poverty rates to provide students with weekend food bags.
Each child receives two breakfasts, two lunches, and two snacks to eat over the weekend.
In addition to weekend meals, Kindness Backpack has provided school supplies, snacks for testing weeks,
support for good attendance and behavior programs, and essential items like hygiene products, clothing, and more.
