Learn to Make Stuffed Grape Leaves

Please join Nacim Sajabi to learn how to make and enjoy eating stuffed grape leaves on Monday, January 19. These leaves will be filled with rice, split peas, roasted eggplant and plenty of herbs. The dipping sauce will be sweetened pomegranate and lemon. The recipe for this meal was inspired by the author and restaurateur, Najmieh Batmanglij. She wrote the Persian food cookbook, Food For Life and also founded the Virginia based restaurant, Joon. This meal will be topped off with a vegan dessert of sholehzard and Persian tea.
