MetroParks Community Conversation

MetroParks is hosting a community conversations session on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 3 to 5 p.m at Island MetroPark. MetroParks outreach coordinator Sheena Johnson and special guest facilitator Akiima Price (Friends of Anacostia Park) will host some light talk about creative ways to use outdoor spaces for the benefit of the community. There will be information and updates about permit policies and an opportunity to tour new park amenities and a Heart Healthy Trail. Please come out and share your thoughts, idea, and current use for Five Rivers MetroPark.
