Social Justice Speaker Ryan Goodman

The 5th Annual Social Justice Speaker Series continues with Ryan Goodman (he/him), a beef cattleman, agriculture advocate, and ultrarunner. Ryan brings a firsthand perspective shaped by production agriculture, land‑grant university research systems, and national advocacy and communications work. His talk explores the intersection of agriculture, identity, and community, with an emphasis on respectful dialogue and practical allyship.

Ryan is the founder of Pride In Agriculture, a grassroots initiative that promotes visibility, belonging, and meaningful conversation tools for LGBTQ plus people and allies in agriculture, particularly those living and working in rural communities.
