Unleashing Potential: How Service Dogs Transform Lives

September 17 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join Wright Library and the Oakwood Inclusion Coalition for a panel discussion from local community members that explores the deeper, human impact of service dog partnerships. The presentation hopes to provide an in-depth understanding of the unique and powerful bond between a service dog and their handler, and to explore, through personal stories, how service dogs create opportunities for inclusion and belonging for the people they serve. Service dogs do far more than assist with tasks—they play a vital role in fostering inclusion and strengthening the connection between individuals with disabilities and their communities.

Whether you’re a community member, service provider, or someone interested in accessibility and inclusion, this conversation will expand your understanding of how service dogs contribute to a more connected and compassionate society.
