Women Veterans Day commemorates the anniversary of the 1948 Women’s Armed Services Integration Act, which allowed women to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. military. This celebration is a chance to recognize the courage, skill, and dedication of women veterans across generations.
The program will feature Cassie Barlow, Ph.D., Colonel, United States Air Force, Retired, as Master of Ceremonies, and Lt. Col. Charlynda J. Scales, United States Air Force Reserve, as featured speaker.
