CJ Chan’s second location is now finally under construction. The new location was announced back in April, when they signed a lease for the 1,800 square foot location at 2747 W. Alex Bell Road, in the same strip center as the original Chappy’s Tap House.
The original CJ Chan opened up at 536 Wilmington Ave in the fall of 2010 and has earned a steady following of fans serving up a “distinctive menu featuring more than 80 sensational dishes ranging from traditional Chinese favorites and innovative specialties to classic Thai foods from across Asia, using only the freshest, most natural ingredients,” according to their website. The restaurant has earned positive review for “huge portions, delicious food, prices that are low and service that is fast,” if you peruse the online sites.
Construction photo’s placed on their website today confirm that progress is finally under way. A call to the restaurant said they hope to be open by the end of November.
