Entrepreneur Tae Winston presents a pop-up extravaganza this Sunday from 2-7pm at the Job Center on Edwin C. Moses Blvd. With over 100 vendors you’ll be able to shop for clothing, jewelry, homemade crafts, beauty lotions and more. 28 food trucks are scheduled to attend, so expect to choose from a wide variety wings, seafood, bbq, pizza and more. Bring your own chair and enjoy the music. The Drill Team come on at 5:30. and DJ Oscar Pittman will be spinning music. The Food Bank will have some free groceries giveaways as well.
Tae has been hosting pop-up events for years and this will be her 7th Food truck rally. She also currently owns The Entrepreneurs Shoppe on Williams Street in Wright Dunbar and District Market on Wayne Ave which specializes in food businesses. Each of these shops offers entrepreneurs a space where they can pilot their small business, before branching out on their own.
Tae’s son Chace’s food truck will be at the event giving out free hot dogs.
