Dayton finally has more sriracha! What a long wait it has been. Due to a problem sourcing peppers the original sauce has been off the shelves most of the summer. But now HouseMade Sriracha is back up and running with their newest flavor, Peachy Sriracha. Super ripe peaches combined with Cincinnati grown habaneros makes for a fun sweet and spicy sauce. This is a small batch made at the end of the peach season. When it’s gone it’s gone till next year. Get it while you can!
Owner Lee Anne House tells us to watch out for a green sriracha to come up next. This is made with a blend of serrano peppers, tomatillos and pineapple juice. Like the Peachy, it made its debut on the Bad Dog Nice Taco cart this summer. It was so well received it’s now on their Kaboom tacos and in the pimento macaroni salad, both of which are on the delivery service available Monday-Friday.
