ARTery Gallery First Friday, Second Look Saturday, Third Sunday

Members of The ARTery at Front Street are presenting new and exciting artists and art mediums in 2024! The gallery currently has one of the most diverse groups of artists and artisans it’s ever showcased. From fiber arts, alcohol ink works, and custom wood creations, to traditional paintings, local photography, rare gem jewelry, and abstract pieces.

Maggie Reckers is our Visiting Artist of the Month. If you bump into her hiking or biking, you’ll find her with a sketchpad in toe as the outdoors serves as her greatest inspiration. A Fine Art graduate from Sinclair Community College, she launched her art career in 2011 by painting live across the US. Lately she’s transitioned to studio work and en plein air painting. When you visit, you’ll notice her bold brushstrokes are reminiscent of post-impressionism.

Our Artist of the Month, Bob Pricer creates some of the most unique wood pieces we’ve ever seen. He has no particular way to find inspiration other than just heading to his wood shop. “While I’m there, ideas just pop into my head,” Bob says.
