Masquarage is Equitas Health’s Dayton  signature event raises critical funds for the community-based healthcare system’s life-saving work. Known for it’s over the top costumes and decor that coordinate with each years theme.  Over the years Masquerage has been an intergalactic adventure, a glam rock odyssey, demons and angels, a circus and so much more!

This year it’s Push Play– a night of gaming, everything from cards, board games to cosplay and video games.  While costumes aren’t required most folks do dress up.  No matter what the theme is somethings are a constant at this decadent fundraiser- The Rubi Girls entertain, it’s great people watching, the confetti falls at midnight and masks are required!

Since Masquerage’s inception in 2002, this event has helped raise awareness and now more than $1,500,000. Masquerage is  one of the must-be-seen-at events in Dayton, bringing hundreds of people together for a magnificent evening to raise awareness and critical funds for HIV/AIDS medical care, treatment, and prevention, a variety of other health services like primary care, behavioral health counseling, and dental care—one of the highest unmet needs for those living with HIV.

About Lisa Grigsby

Lisa Grigsby is a Special Events Director with over thirty years experience in promotions, event coordination and public relations.

Owning Jokers Comedy Cafe for 20 years taught Lisa to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. She credits Leadership Dayton for exposing her to the amazing assets of the region and Clothes That Work for being her reason she stayed in Dayton. Her proudest accomplishment as a past president of the Miami Valley Restaurant Association was creating Restaurant Week, a twice a year tradition that continues to grow and benefit local charities as well. As a foodie, it's only natural that she continues to promote local restaurateurs with DaytonDining.

As a Dayton Catalyst, her desire to have ONE community calendar and advocate for the amazing assets of the region helped create the vision for the relaunch of DaytonMostMetro, now Dayton 937.com
