Live music and art communities are coming out to support a timely benefit concert to combat bullying in schools, especially for the#LGBT Youth. GemFest takes place this Saturday, October 3rd, at the Old Yellow Cab Building. This event directly benefits GLSEN Greater Dayton and their local anti bullying programs and GSAs in our local schools.
It’s your opportunity to “Stand Up and Be Heard!”! Organizers are excited to display area art work for the youth, and offer an open mic for spoken word, slam poetry, or any form of live music.
Schedule of events: Doors will open for the GemFest Youth event at 10am.
