Restaurants Taking a Summer Break

As the Miami Valley hospitality industry heads into the typically slow summer season, restaurants and bars around the Valley are using this opportunity to take short breaks to regroup.

Some restaurants are taking a brief interlude to renovate and update their menus, after welcoming
pre-pandemic levels of clientele for the first time in more than a year. Other businesses that are short-staffed are giving their overworked employees a reprieve.

We’ll keep updating this list, but here’s what we know so far!

Bill’s Donut takes their annual 4th of July week off and will reopen at 3pm on July 9th.

Boosalis Baking and Cafe will close July 2nd and reopen on July 11th

Charlie’s Deli & Catering will be closed July 3rd & 4th reopening July 5th

Original Flying Pizza Downtown-  close July 2nd to July 9th.  Will reopen July 10th

Falb’s Restaurant  Closed for vacation and will reopen on July 17th!

Fratelli’s – is shut down for Summer Break . Will reopen the week after Labor Day!

Hoshi Ramen will be closed from July 3rd to July 10th! They’ll reopen July 11th  celebrating their anniversary week!

Mamma DiSalvo’s will be closed  July 2- July 18 will reopen on July 19th.

Mz.Jade’s SoulFood  will be closed July 3-5 and reopen on Thursday, July 6th.

Napoli’s Pizza is closed and will reopen July 29

Paragon Supper Club – Closed through July 6th reopens Friday, July 7th

Penn’s Thai Grill will close on July 2 and reopen on Friday, August 4th

Roma’s Pizza & Pasta will  close on July 2nd and reopen July 24th.

Salt Block Biscuit Company  will be closed July 4th & 5th, and will reopen Thursday the 6th.

Thai Table will close July 2 – 4 and reopen on July 5th

Tony and Pete’s will close Monday, July 3 and will be back at it 11am Friday July 7.

Venecia Italian Restaurant  will be closed July 5 to July 26.  Will reopen July 27th.
