In a spot that was served up Italian eats for 25 years on the square in Troy, now opens it’s serve up “epic tacos and tequila” as Agave & Rye. Offering a chef-inspired take on the standard taco, this will be the sixth location for this chain. Offering 20 different taco options, 7 different chip and dip combinations, 90 tequilas and over 80 bourbons, they pride themselves on Epic experiences.
Open seven days a week at 11am, tacos are prepared from scratch, using fresh produce and protein to create a mix of hot meats and cool toppings. Their menu offers options for Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan palettes, and even has a section of the menu feature “NOT A TACO” options that include a burger, salad, enchiladas, and turkey lo mein. Happy hour is offered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with $2 off all epic tacos, $3 chips and queso, $2 domestic beer in cans, $6 bourbon peach punch and $6 Margaritas. Taco Tuesday is celebrated all day with $2-4 tacos, and the same drink features as their happy hour. Whiskey Wednesday offers $2 off all whiskey and bourbon pours. If you make it to dessert, they offer carrot cake and chocolate cake in portions they advertise as large enough for two.
