The ninth annual Bloody Mary Showdown, presented by RAD’S Bloody Mary Mix, who won our 3rd Showdown, is now in the books. Around 300 guests acame out to Top Of the Market this afternoon to sample tomato juice and vodka cocktails from 11 different vendors. But they were was so much more than just those two ingredients. Spicy, fruity, dill pickle infused and even a ska themed breakfast cocktail were served up by the many creative bartenders on hand today at this event produced by Planned2Give.
As you can see from above garnishes played a big part in the drink and there were a lot of cheese, peppers, salami, bacon, citrus and even some cocktail shrimp. Mudlick Tap House basically had a build your own garnish set up to compliment their dill pickle infused bloody mary.
First time entrant SushiNero was voted best garnish! They created a banana leaf packet, fried a cocktail sausage and cut it to look like an octopus with a stuffed piquillo pepper and through the magic of molecular gastronomy they turned rum, lime and wasabi into pearls served on a spoon with their cocktail
Table decor also helped attendees choose which drinks to taste and get a feel for the bar/restaurants serving them, bringing in some of the flair and atmosphere from their business.

And when it came to table decor, the people declared that SushiNero was the best, giving them their second win of the night.
Newcomers to the event, Entropy Brewing Company, the newest brewery in downtown Miamisburg placed in the top three of the peoples choice.
First time competitor Sparky’s Lounge on Watertower Lane in West Carrollton, placed amongst the most voted for of today’s bloody mary’s. But it seems no one was able to beat Loose Ends Brewing, which took home the three-peat, winning again with Mr. Kents Bloody Mary- named after the owner’s late father. It’s a house made mix w/ a bacon salted rim, candied bacon, deep fried deviled egg, sweet gherkins, pepper jack cheese cube and celery.
P2Give is already looking forward to the 10th annual event, which will happen Feb 1st, 2026. Mark you calendars and plan on being part of the fun!
