Deeply Rooted: A Chef’s Dinner featuring Chef Jose Salazar
It’s all about collaboration when it comes to Sueno’s Chef’s Dinner Series, “Deeply Rooted.” Hosted by Sueno Chef Jorge Guzman, featuring Chef Jose Salazar of Cincinnati, owner of Salazar, Mita’s (a James Beard Outstanding Restaurant Award nominee) and Goose & Elder in Cincinnati.
This 5-course menu will dig deep into Mexican food traditions with wine pairing from Certified Sommelier Lauren Gay this Thursday, April 6th. 5 courses, 4 wines, 2 chefs and a great cause benefitting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
1. Fregola esquites, tarragon, parmesan, chile, jalapeño
2. Pulpo, white asparagus, ruby grapefruit, black garlic vinaigrette, pimenton
3. Barramundi, yuzu butter, trout roe, herbs
4. Spring lamb loin, lamb shoulder, English pea huarache, salsa huitlacoche
5. White chocolate coconut flan with toasted coconut shavings.
