Gear up for the eclipse with a cosmic treat! Sonic Drive-In is celebrating next month’s total solar eclipse with a limited-edition beverage – the Blackout Slush Float.
This out-of-this-world drink features a black-colored slush that blends sweet cotton candy and exotic dragon fruit flavors.
It’s a taste sensation that evokes the darkness of the eclipse, topped with a swirl of creamy white soft serve and a sprinkling of galaxy-themed sprinkles in blue and purple.
The Blackout Slush Float will be available nationwide at participating Sonic location starting March 25 through May 5 or while supplies last.
With every purchase of the new drink, Sonic will be giving out free solar eclipse viewing glasses, while supplies last, to ensure customers “safely watch the eclipse and create fun memories.”
