Each year on November 11, we take a moment to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. From parades to special events, Veteran’s Day is a chance for the nation to say “thank you” in many ways. One of the most appreciated gestures is the array of discounts and offers made available to veterans, active-duty military, and their families. In 2024, businesses across the country are once again stepping up to show their gratitude with an impressive lineup of deals. Below is a breakdown of some of the discounts available this year. This list will be updated regularly as new discounts come in. All discounts are for Monday, November 11th unless otherwise noted.
Applebee’s — Veteran and active-duty military receive a free meal from a select menu at participating locations. Dine-in only
Barry Bagels – Visit in-store and receive a complimentary bagel and cream cheese or eggel and a small coffee or fountain drink!
Bibibop – One free bowl for every veteran military ID
Biggby Coffee — Veterans and active-duty service members receive a free 16oz latte hot/iced/frozen with military ID.
BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse — veterans can dine in and enjoy a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with no minimum food purchase. In addition, veterans will receive a bounce back coupon for a free appetizer.
Bob Evans — Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select menu. Dine-in only.
Bonefish Grill — Active-duty service members and veterans get a complimentary order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soft beverage with valid ID.
Buffalo Wild Wings — veterans and active-duty service members get 10 free boneless wings and fries with valid ID. Available for dine-in
Carrabba’s –order a complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert paired with a free nonalcoholic beverage. Veterans and active-duty military are asked to show a service ID.
Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen — Veterans and active-duty military members receive a complimentary appetizer or dessert
Chili’s — Veterans and active-duty military members get a free meal at all participating restaurants. Available in-restaurant only for select items. Military ID required to redeem offer.
City Barbecue — veterans and active US military get a free sandwich, one side, and a drink. Offer only valid in store for dine-in or carryout.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit — Veterans and active-duty military get a free Pulled Pork Sandwich. Valid in-store, and online/app for carryout.
Dunkin’ — Active and retired military get a free donut. Limit one per guest while supplies last. Offer available in-store only. Not available for orders placed using On-the-Go Mobile Ordering through the Dunkin’ Mobile App.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers — Veterans and active-duty military personnel who visit participating locations will receive a meal card valid for a free combo meal of their choice. Cards may be redeemed through December 31, 2024.
Gold Star Chili — veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary meal of their choice.
Golden Corral — Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night from 5pm to close. This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in.
Hooters — retired and active-duty military who present proof of service or a military ID, with purchase of a beverage, may order one free meal from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu, valid for dine-in only.
IHOP — Veterans and active-duty military get a free Red, White, and Blueberry Pancake Combo from 7am to 7pm. Dine-in only, at participating restaurants.
Little Caesars — from 11:00am to 2:00pm, veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a complimentary Lunch Combo, which includes four slices of Little Caesars signature Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza and a 20-ounce beverage.
Mission BBQ — Veterans get a free sandwich
Olive Garden — To thank members of the military for their service, Olive Garden is offering those that dine-in a complimentary entrée from a special menu.
Outback Steakhouse — Active-duty military and veterans get a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage with the purchase of an adult entree in-restaurant.
On Par Entertainment– we honor our heroes with 25-cent wings! This exclusive offer is available for dine-in only, while supplies last, and limited to one order per person.
QDOBA — veterans and active-duty military members receive 50% off any full-size entrée. In-restaurant only at participating locations, with a valid military ID at checkout.
Raising Cane’s — Any active or nonactive military and their spouses get 10% off their entire purchase when they mention the Hero Discount Program at the register. They will need to have a valid ID to receive the discount.
Red Lobster — Veterans, active-duty military and reservists get free Veteran’s Shrimp & Chip – featuring six Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, served with cocktail sauce and ketchup, as well as crispy French Fries and Coleslaw. Show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem this dine-in only offer.
Red Robin – Veterans and active-duty military guests can enjoy a complimentary Red’s Big Tavern Burger and Bottomless Side when dining in at participating restaurants
Smoothie King – Free 20-ounce smoothie for veterans, active-duty military
SONIC Drive-In — get half price shakes in any size and flavor, including both Classic and Master Shakes.
Starbucks — Starbucks is honoring those who have served with a free tall (12-ounce) brewed coffee (hot or iced) for veterans, military service members and military spouses at participating U.S. stores.
Texas Roadhouse — At participating locations, active-duty military and veterans can dine in or receive a meal voucherfrom 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a form of military ID. These vouchers are good for dine in or carry out at a later time. The voucher is good until May 30, 2025. If you choose to dine in on November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, there will be a specific menu to select from.
Tim Hortons — Guests who are in any US military uniform or present a valid veteran’s ID in participating restaurants receive a free classic donut. Order must be placed in the restaurant.
Wendy’s – Free small breakfast combo, no purchase necessary, for veterans, active-duty military
White Castle — Veterans and active-duty military get a free individual combo meal or a breakfast combo meal when dining at a participating restaurant
