Each year on November 11, we take a moment to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. From parades to special events, Veteran’s Day is a chance for the nation to say “thank you” in many ways. One of the most appreciated gestures is the array of discounts and offers made available to veterans, active-duty military, and their families. In 2024, businesses across the country are once again stepping up to show their gratitude with an impressive lineup of deals. Below is a breakdown of some of the discounts available this year. This list will be updated regularly as new discounts come in. All discounts are for Monday, November 11th unless otherwise noted.

Anther Broken Egg – all Veterans, active duty and retired service members are invited to enjoy a FREE Patriot French Toast Combo & coffee

Applebee’s — Veteran and active-duty military receive a free meal from a select menu at participating locations. Dine-in only

Barry Bagels – Visit in-store and receive a complimentary bagel and cream cheese or eggel and a small coffee or fountain drink!
Bibibop – One free bowl for every veteran military ID
Biggby Coffee — Veterans and active-duty service members receive a free 16oz latte hot/iced/frozen with military ID.
Bill’s Donut Shop –  invites Veterans to enjoy a donut and a cup of coffee on us.
BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse — veterans can dine in and enjoy a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with no minimum food purchase. In addition, veterans will receive a bounce back coupon for a free appetizer.

Buffalo Wild Wings — veterans and active-duty service members get 10 free boneless wings and fries with valid ID. Available for dine-in

Butterbee’s Grille Xenia –  Veterans Eat Free off our special menu. We have the best complimentary offerings of any restaurant in the area.

Carrabba’s –order a complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert paired with a free nonalcoholic beverage. Veterans and active-duty military are asked to show a service ID.
Chappys would like to thank all Veterans for their service by offering 50% off any Entree, dinner salad, or Sandwich this Sunday and Tuesday.
Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen — Veterans and active-duty military members receive a complimentary appetizer or dessert
Chili’s — Veterans and active-duty military members get a free meal at all participating restaurants. Available in-restaurant only for select items. Military ID required to redeem offer.
City Barbecue — veterans and active US military get a free sandwich, one side, and a drink. Offer only valid in store for dine-in or carryout.
Cracker Barrel – service members get a complimentary Sunrise Pancake Special, available for dine-in guests nationwide.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit — Veterans and active-duty military get a free Pulled Pork Sandwich. Valid in-store, and online/app for carryout.
Dunkin’ — Active and retired military get a free donut. Limit one per guest while supplies last. Offer available in-store only. Not available for orders placed using On-the-Go Mobile Ordering through the Dunkin’ Mobile App.

Fazoli’s: All active military and veterans can enjoy a Free Spaghetti with Marinara or Meat Sauce at participating locations with proof of service when dining in or via the online code, VET24.

Firebirds– Dine with a Veteran or active duty service member and their lunch or dinner is our treat.
Firehouse Subs – It would be our privilege to serve our troops, veterans, and all active duty military a FREE meal – a Medium Sub, chips or cookie, and a drink.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers — Veterans and active-duty military personnel who visit participating locations will receive a meal card valid for a free combo meal of their choice. Cards may be redeemed through December 31, 2024.
Gold Star Chili — veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary meal of their choice.
Golden Corral — Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night  from 4pm to close. This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in.
Hooters — retired and active-duty military who present proof of service or a military ID, with purchase of a beverage, may order one free meal from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu, valid for dine-in only.
IHOP — Veterans and active-duty military get a free Red, White, and Blueberry Pancake Combo  from 7am to 7pm. Dine-in only, at participating restaurants.

Texas Roadhouse — At participating locations, active-duty military and veterans can dine in or receive a meal voucherfrom 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a form of military ID. These vouchers are good for dine in or carry out at a later time. The voucher is good until May 30, 2025. If you choose to dine in on November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, there will be a specific menu to select from.

The Donut Haus Bakery – we’ll be offering one free donut or pastry to all veterans tomorrow.

The Pub – Retired and Active Duty Military: Enjoy a free meal as a thank you for your service!

Tim Hortons — Guests who are in any US military uniform or present a valid veteran’s ID in participating restaurants receive a free classic donut. Order must be placed in the restaurant.

Many restaurants  are extending their thanks to veterans and active duty military personnel by offering freebies and discounts on Veterans Day.  Here’s where the deals are:

Applebee’s — Applebee’s is offering active-duty military and veterans a free meal from a select menu on Veterans Day. Bring along proof of service. Check Applebee’s website for details.

BIBIBOP – Veterans & active duty military  enjoy a bowl on us! To receive this offer, please bring in your military ID to your local BIBIBOP on November 11th.

Bob Evans — On Nov. 11, Bob Evans will be offering veterans and active-duty service members a special menu of seven homestyle favorites free. Dine-in only, beverage not included. Proof of military service required.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse — BJ’s is offering a complimentary meal from a select menu and a Dr Pepper beverage to all current military personnel and Veterans with proof of service.

Blueberry Cafe – All Veterans with a Military ID will receive a complimentary meal of any one of our signature platters (or up to $10 off any other meal of their choice)!

Bravo– Free entree for all Veterans and Active Duty Members with proof of service.

Buffalo Wild Wings — On Veterans Day, participating Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants will offer 10 free boneless wings and fries for all veterans and active-duty service members. Both dine-in or takeout, but military ID required.

Fazoli’s — Fazoli’s is offering veterans a free regular spaghetti with meat or marinara on Nov. 10 and 11 at participating locations.

Giovanni’s Fairborn – will be offering a complimentary spaghetti dinner to all Veterans. This can be dine in or take out. We are open from 11 am – 9 pm on Veteran’s Day. We do not require reservations but they are encouraged. We also do not require military ID. We thank you and look forward to be able to be of service to you.

Hole N One Donuts – We would like to thank all of our veterans and also those who are currently serving. On the 11th we will be giving veterans a free coffee and one free donut of your choice! All that we will ask is that you show us your ID.

Hooters — All active-duty and retired military, with proof of service, are invited to stop in for a free meal on Veterans Day. The Hooters Veterans Day Menu includes five of the most popular entrées including: Buffalo Chicken Salad, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Hooters Burger and 10-Piece Boneless Wings.

IHOP — Veterans and active-duty military are being offered free red, white and blue pancakes on Nov. 11 with presentation of a military ID or proof of service.

Longhorn Steak House — Longhorn Steakhouse offers veterans 10% off their entire meal and a free appetizer or dessert this Veterans Day.

O’Charley’s — Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free meal—a $10 value—from a special menu at participating O’Charley’s locations on Nov. 11 with a military ID or proof of service.

Olive Garden — Active-duty military and veterans on Veterans Day can get a free meal, which includes an entrée from a special Veterans Day menu, plus unlimited soup or salad and garlic breadsticks to round out the meal.

Outback Steakhouses — Active-duty and veterans can receive a free Bloomin’ Onion or Coca-Cola product. A 10% discount on meals is available for service members as well as nurses, doctors, medical staff, police officers and firefighters.

Red Robin — Veterans and active-duty military who are Red Robin Royalty members are offered a free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries anytime through Nov. 14 for dine-in or to-go.

Red Lobster — Active-duty service members, veterans, and reservists can receive a free appetizer or dessert on Nov. 11.

Starbucks: Veterans, servicemembers, and military spouses get a free tall (12-ounce) hot brewed coffee at participating U.S. stores Nov. 11.

Texas Roadhouse — Texas Roadhouse will hand out dinner vouchers at the stores’ parking lots on Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans and active-duty military can redeem their dinner vouchers when the restaurant opens for dinner, through May 30, 2022.

TGI Fridays — On Veterans Day, TGI Fridays is offering a free select lunch for dine-in only (not valid for online, take-out, or delivery) at participating locations with valid military ID between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Third Perk Coffeehouse & Wine Bar – a free brew coffee. Veterans can also receive a $5 gift card when they purchase any item.

Young’s Jersey Dairy– To show our appreciation for the folks who serve or served our country in the military, November 8-14, all items (except gift cards) will be discounted 20% for active, retired, or reserve Air Force, National Guard, Navy, Army, Marine or Coast Guard personnel and their immediate families at The Dairy Store, The Marketplace, and Udders and Putters. Applebee’s:  Vets and active-duty military can have their pick from a special menu with options like three-cheese chicken penne, 7-oz. sirloin, and double crunch shrimp, free of charge (beverage and gratuity are not included).

Bob Evans: Hotcakes, brioche French toast, and the country biscuit breakfast are among the options available to veterans and active-duty military in a special free menu.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Veterans and active-duty military receive a free small order of wings and a side of fries.

Hardee’s/Carl’s Jr.: On Nov. 11, 100% of the proceeds of any sale from an “Ultimate Care Package” will go towards the Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit created by Activision Blizzard that has funded the placement of over 15,000 veterans into high quality jobs. Longhorn Steakhouse:  Veterans and active duty military get a free Texas Tonion and non-alcoholic beverate

McCormick & Schmicks: This seafood and steak chain is honoring veterans and active military not on Veteran’s Day but on Sunday, November 8, with a choice of free entrees including tender beef medallions, salmon rigatoni, or blackened chicken fettuccine.

O’Charley’s:  Veterans and active military can make a selection for free off the $9.99 menu, which includes chicken fried steak and bayou shrimp pasta.

Olive Garden: Customers with military ID get a free entrée such as chicken parmigiana, lasagna, or cheese ravioli, with unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks, and family members joining a veteran or active military member at the table get 10% off on Veteran’s Day.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt: All vets and active-duty personnel get a free 11-ounce frozen yogurt.

Red Lobster: From November 9 to 12, veterans and active military receive a complimentary appetizer or dessert.

Red Robin: Help yourself to a Red’s Tavern Double burger and bottomless steak fries if you’re a veteran or active-duty personnel.

Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill: Veterans and active military eat FREE. Choose from 1/2 lb. premium burger, pulled pork platter, chicken fingers, tomato basil cavatappi or nutty chicken salad. Sides include natural cut fries, mashed potatoes & brown gravy, creamy cole slaw or cinnamon apples. Veterans also receive 10 percent off their meal all year long.

Sweeney’s Seafood: A complimentary dinner (no carry outs please) off the Veterans Day Menu. ID requested…

Tim Hortons: Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is giving all active and inactive U.S. military veterans a free donut to thank them for their service and dedication to their country. The promotion will last all day on November 11, Veterans Day, at participating restaurants or until supplies last. No purchase is necessary. To receive their free donut, Veterans need to either be in uniform or show their military ID when they visit a Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop.

Twist Cupcakery:  Sweetening the day for those who have served our country! All Veterans will recieve a free cupcake at Twist Cupcakery; must present military identification to recieve this offer!

Arby’s – Monday, November 11, 2013 – Arby’s is offering a free Classic Roast Beef sandwich to veterans and active duty military personnel on Veterans Day. Just show up in uniform or bring proof of U.S. military service.  Not all locations are participating, so call ahead and ask before heading out.

Bar Louie – Sunday, November 10, 2013 & Monday, November 11, 2013 -But Bar Louie is offering veterans and active military members a free lunch or dinner on Sunday, November 10 and Monday, November 11.  Offer valid for any food item up to $12.00 value.   Beverages and gratuity are not included.  Proof of military service is required.

BD’s Mongolian Grill  November 11-15, 2013 – Veterans and military personnel are invited to enjoy BD’s Stir-fry meal at 50% off the regular price.  This offer is valid the week of Veterans Day: November 11 – 15, 2013 for both veterans and active military personnel.  Valid military ID or proof of service is required.

The Donut Haus Sunday, Nov. 10, and Monday, Nov. 11,  any veteran with proper ID can pick out any one bakery item in the Springboro shop’s display case and any beverage at no charge, and can also receive 50 percent off any one dozen doughnuts on both days, with a limit of one dozen.

Fox and Hound – Monday, November 11, 2013 – Veterans and active military members enjoy a free sandwich or entree up to $13 value.  Please show your valid military ID or proof of military service.

Friendly’s – Monday, November 11, 2013 – Friendly’s is offering a free Big Two Do breakfast and coffee to veterans and active military members.  Offer valid until 11:00AM at participating locations.  Valid military ID or honorable discharge card is required.

Golden Corral – Monday, November 11, 2013 – The 13th annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation dinner will be held from 4:00-9:00PM at all Golden Corral Restaurants nationwide. The free “thank you” dinner is available to any person who has ever served in the United States Military. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to participate in Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation Monday dinner.

Texas Roadhouse – Monday, November 11, 2013 – Free lunch or dinner for veterans and active military on Veterans Day. Hours are from 11:00AM-10:00PM. Choose from 10 free meals plus a side order and choice of beverage. Valid military ID required.

BD Mongolian Grill –  Show your military identification, and get half off stir-fry on regular priced bowls on Sun, Nov. 11

Chili’s – Free Veterans Day Meal from special Menu

Champp’s – Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free champps cheeseburger and fries all day on Mon, Nov 12th with military ID

Fazoli’s – Servicemen and women in uniform or with valid military ID will receive a FREE pasta entree, Valid thru Nov 12

TGI Friday’s- Free lunch on Mon, Nov 12th for for all US Military personnel and veterans. Must wear uniform (if permitted by your service) or present military ID or other proof of service.
