Veterans Day Freebies For 2020

Many restaurants and retailers are honoring our Veterans by offering freebies and special deals to honor those that have served.  These offers are good on Veterans Day, which is this Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, unless otherwise noted.  If you know of a deal we’ve missed please add it in the comment below and we’ll add it to the list.

Always offers military in uniform 10% off their meal

Applebee’s Grill & Bar

On Veterans Day, Wednesday Nov. 11, active duty military and veterans with valid ID can enjoy a free meal from a special Applebee’s menu on Veterans Day. The restaurant chain suggests contacting your local Applebee’s to learn more about any Veterans Day offerings. Offers may vary based on local mandates and guidelines.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse

All current and former military who come into BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse can enjoy free Veterans Day meal.  A military ID is required before you can get the free Veterans Day meal from BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse.

Blue Berry Cafe

On Wednesday, Novemeber 11th – 7am to 2pm…every Veteran dining in with us will receive a Meal on US!

Bob Evans

The Veterans Day free meal choices include Hand-Breaded Crispy Fried Chicken, Country Biscuit Breakfast, Brioche French Toast, the Mini Sampler, Stack of Hotcakes, Country Fried Steak, or Soup & Salad Combo. This is for dine-in only, and beverages and gratuity aren’t included.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings is having their annual Veterans Day free food deal on Veterans Day, which is Wednesday, November 11. All day, veterans and active duty military get a free order of boneless wings and a side of fries.

Chili’s

Visit a participating Chili’s on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, to get your Veterans Day free meal if you’re a veteran or on active military duty.

City Barbeque

McDonald’s

Veterans get either a free breakfast, lunch, or dinner meal to veterans who show a valid ID. The free breakfast options include an Egg McMuffin, Chicken McGriddles, or a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit. Each item comes with a soft drink of any size, tea, or hot coffee, and a hash brown. Lunch and dinner meals include a double cheeseburger, six-piece Chicken McNuggets, or Filet-O-Fish. All options will come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee, and an order of small fries. Each meal will be available at no charge via drive-thru or carry out at participating McDonald’s restaurants across Ohio.

On Veterans Day, all McDonald’s customers will receive a complimentary American flag sticker decal with each order. Customers can post an image of the sticker with the hashtag #McDSupportsVeterans to be entered into a contest for a $100 Arch Card gift card and a $1,000 donation to the local veteran organization of their choice.

Red Lobster

Active duty military, reserve, and military veterans can stop by Red Lobster and get a free appetizer or dessert on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

Red Robin

Veterans and active duty military can stop into any participating Red Robin location between November 12 and November 30 to get a free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries.

Smoothie King

On Veterans Day this year, all members of the military—including veterans, retired, and active military—can get a free, 20 oz smoothie of their choosing. You must bring valid military ID or another proof of service in order to redeem the offer. It’s good only in stores.

Texas Roadhouse

 To celebrate Veterans Day, they will hand out dinner vouchers at their stores’ parking lots on Wednesday, November 11, from 11am – 2pm.  They ask that all active, former, or retired military members please have their Military ID or proof of service when driving through to pick up their dinner voucher. Veterans and active military can redeem their dinner vouchers in-store until June of next year.
